How You Can Be a Part
What to Expect
If you've never marched in a parade before, expect to be on your feet for a several hours - the parade route is approximately 2 miles. If you would like to participate but are unable to walk the 2 miles, no worries! We have a trailer that can pull 12 people. When you RSVP, please let us know you need a ride. Once we know our exact parade position from the city, we will notify all those that have signed up.
If you are planning on riding in the trailer, please bring a towel to sit on.
If you will be dropped off by car at our lineup spot, you MUST arrive before 7:30am. The road shuts down to cars and golf carts at that time.
If you are walking to our spot, you may arrive up until 8:50am. The parade starts at 9:00am.
We are spot #37 on Peachtree Parkway. You can use the Braelinn Golf Club at 500 Clubview Drive, Peachtree City as your GPS address. You are not able to park at the club btu our spot is near there.
We will have some cold, bottled water for marchers and riders but also feel free to bring your own. It will be HOT!

A Few Final Notes
Dress
Wear whatever makes you comfortable but know this is a family friendly parade. Pride themed apparel is always welcome.
Hydration
As is the nature of Georgia in July, the days will be be quite warm! Please consider bringing snacks or a water bottle, as there will be none available during the parade.
Kids
Bring them! But know they have to walk the entire route. They can also be in a stroller or wagon.
Transportation
The parade begins just north of the Braelinn Golf Course on Peachtree Parkway and ends near the McIntosh Trail Recreation Center. You are responsible for getting yourself back to your car. No transportation is provided.
