What happens at a meeting?
It's a chance to share your concerns in a safe and confidential environment & meet others with similar experiences. However, you can also just sit and listen to attendees' stories without divulging anything personal. Because adult support groups have a distinct structure, please arrive by 7pm to avoid interrupting the flow. This group is for those ages 18 and up looking for support with deeper conversation.
For attendees under the age of 18,
PFLAG PTC is proud to host a Youth Support Meeting for LGBTQIA+ students and their friends. They will receive
support from and socialize with LGBTQIA+ tweens, teens, and allied friends. Youth under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, however, they will attend separate meetings.
For attendees ages 18-30,
If you are a Young Adult and you would like a more casual, social space, this group is for you. If you are seeking deeper conversation, please join us in our Adult Group.
When you arrive
Head to the left side of the church building. There is a large parking lot and you will see signs for PFLAG.
Go down the wide set of concrete stairs, and enter through the blue door to the right.
